Sensational Nigerian artiste, Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun has received backlash from anticipating fans who waited patiently for the new song he promised while performing at the 02 Arena in London.
Wizkid, who invited his counterpart Burna Boy to his concert last night, promised the crowd that they were going to drop a new song “tonight”.
Ironically, the break of dawn has seen no new song by Wizkid featuring Burna Boy, and this has infuriated fans who have continued to express disappointment.
On Instagram, a user identified with the handle @JoshP called out the star singer for making fake promises.
Many reactions trailed, as Netizens who anticipated the new song further expressed disappointments.
@ Crucifi said, “That Tonight fit be next year.”
Meanwhile rapper, Emeka Akumefule, known professionally as Blaqbonez has appealed to his landlord to increase the amount of his rent because of his latest wins.
According to the “Bling” crooner, he’s achieved so many wins of late and he doesn’t think that with the amount of wins he has, he should still be paying the same rent as before.
He says he doesn’t mind having the same apartment, without any new modifications but the rent should be increased.
The singer has had a swell year following the release of his first studio album “Sex over Love” which had tracks that topped the charts in the weeks following its release – according to him, he’s also been booked for lots of performances this December.
