Tonto Dikeh reveals why walking out her marriage was the best decision ever

Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress, publicly addressed her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, in a recent statement.

  • A single mother sought advice from Dikeh regarding coping with her ex-partner’s departure and raising their child.
  • In response Tonto emphasized that she left her marriage for the well-being of herself and her son. She regarded this decision as the best choice she could have made.

Tonto Dikeh, known for her work in Nollywood, has made a remark about her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.

She offered advice to a single mother who contacted her, asking how to cope after her ex left her and their child.

The mother wrote:

“Good morning ma, please ma, I have a question. How were u able to cope when u and ur ex-husband left u with your child? If there is any advice am ready to learn. I am a nobody aiming to be somebody soon”.

Tonto clarified that walking away from the marriage was a wise choice for her and her son, telling her she can become her ideal self through growth and investment in her future.

“Good morning,

First and foremost, I was the one who chose to walk away from my marriage, not the other way around. I needed to escape a difficult situation, not just got my own sake, but for my child as well. Best decision I ever made.

Remember, you have the power to become the person you aspire to be, as long as you commit to your growth and invest in yourself. Prioritize the well-being of your children while seeking guidance and strength from God. Sometimes the end of the road is the beginning of your blessings, but please, if your marriage is worth it, fight for your home.
Take care”.

On her Instagram page, she wrote to single mothers. She confessed that she has no manual and isn’t a specialist. Love teaches her the most, and she finds her strength in God’s guidance

“Dear single mothers,
I don’t have a manual for these things.
I am neither a pro in this movement.
My biggest teacher has been LOVE.
I just let God do his thing, and his thing is enough for me.
Draw strength from God, most especially keep your family matters private”.
