Tope Alabi Takes The Stage At Fashola’s Wife’s 60th Birthday Bash After Saga With Lizzy Anjorin

Gospel artist Tope Alabi has addressed the controversy that recently surrounded her, following reports that she turned down an invitation to sing at Yoruba actress Lizzy Anjorin’s birthday party.

Earlier, it was reported that Anjorin shared videos online where she criticized Alabi for rejecting the surprise request to perform at her celebration. Sources claimed that a team approached Tope, hoping to surprise Anjorin by having her sing at the event. However, when the singer realized the identity of the host, she allegedly chose not to step out of the bus with her team.

Despite facing public criticism from Anjorin, Tope Alabi has kept quiet about the incident until now.

On April 6, the gospel singer was seen performing at a birthday event for Abimbola Fashola, wife of former Lagos Governor Babatunde Fashola. During the celebration, Alabi delivered a stunning performance alongside her colleague, gospel artist Kenny St Brown.

A video from the event shows the former governor and his wife enjoying the festivities on the dance floor while Alabi entertained the crowd with her soulful performance.

Sharing the video, Tope Alabi wrote in a caption,
