Ayomiku, daughter of renowned gospel singer Tope Alabi, has touched hearts with an emotional tribute to her stepfather, Soji Alabi, just days after her intimate wedding ceremony.
Taking to Instagram on March 17, 2025, Ayomiku showered Soji Alabi with appreciation, calling him a “man after my heart” and acknowledging his unwavering love and support throughout her life. She expressed gratitude for his role as a true father figure, highlighting his presence at every significant moment.
Her heartfelt message comes amid ongoing discussions about her parentage. In 2020, her biological father publicly claimed that Tope Alabi had denied him access to their daughter for 22 years. However, Ayomiku’s tribute made it evident that Soji Alabi has played the most significant paternal role in her life.
She also praised him for being a source of strength and consistency, especially during major milestones like her wedding, where he proudly walked her down the aisle and handed her over to her husband, Olu.
Ayomiku Alabi wrote:
“A father indeed!!! A man very much after my heart ❤️ A man of timber and caliber. A man whose love has been my pillar. I type this with tears in my eyes because where do I start from? This man loves me beyond words, I can’t begin to explain or express it. I love you with every bone in my body and every flesh on my skin.
“Thank you for being the best father to ever father me ❤️ from childhood up until the day you gave my hands in marriage to Olu. And even right now you continue to father me. May you reap the reward of every labor. May you reap the fruits of coming from Lagos to Iwo every weekend. May you reap the fruits of always being there on my birthdays. OLUSOJI MI OWON. I love you baami ❤️”
