Toyin Abraham & Iyabo Ojo vs Funke Akindele: Why Funke Didn’t Attend Her Bestie Eniola Badmus’ 20yrs On Stage Celebration

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele on Thursday shunned the 20 years on stage celebration of his colleague and best friend, Eniola Badmus.

Funke Akindele is a very good friend of Eniola Badmus that they could even pass for sister but yesterday she wasn’t seen when she was celebrating her 20th anniversary of being on stage even though she wished her all the best on her page.

According to reports, Funke Akindele didn’t go out for her bestie Eniola Badmus because Toyin Abraham and Iyabo Ojo along with some others were there and she wanted to keep her peace insinuating that there’s a problem between these 3 ladies.

Speaking about the relationship of Funke Akindele and her bestie Eniola Badmus, reports claimed the latter wasn’t pleased with a piece of advice the former gave her when she sent her a picture before sharing it on IG.

According to inner source, Funke Akindele advised Eniola Badmus not to share the photo she shared because there was too much editing but that didn’t go down well with her telling others that Funke wants to be the only one to shine and these folks went to tell Funke about it all.

Despite all this, the two friends are trying hard to keep their friendship intact since they are aware that none of them mean any harm to the other and it’s a good thing they are settling it.

Remember, Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham usually shun each other on social media during birthdays, wedding anniversaries, premieres and other celebrations.

The outstanding actresses, who have been feuding and refusing to attend each other’s movie premieres and other events, began their acting careers in the Yoruba film industry and have made their mark on the silver screen in recent years. However, when it comes to interpreting movie scripts to the letter, they are arguably no pushovers.

Coming after Toyin Abraham recently released a sequel to her one movie, The Ghost and The Tout which premiered on the night of September 5, 2021 ahead of its official release date slated for September 10, 2021.

Funke Akindele also announced the release of her Omo Ghetto: The Saga movie on Netflix on same 10th, September.

This move angered Toyin Abraham’s fans who believed Funke Akindele did it on purpose to reduce the ratings and sales of Toyin Abraham’s “The Ghost and the Tout“.

To make matters worse, popular Instagram acclaimed movie reviewer, Cinema Pointer, rubbished Toyin’s movie and in the same post, advised her followers to sit at home and watch Funke’s movie via Netflix instead.

The post generated a lot of reactions and backlash from Nigerian celebrities and fans. Iyabo Ojo publicly accused Funke of Paying the blogger to pull down Toyin.
