Truck Crashes, Leaving Traders Trapped Under Loads Of Farm Produce

Tragedy Hits Ogun state as several passengers were trapped under loads of far produce after a truck coveying them to their destination crashed.

An eyewitness disclosed that the incident happened near NNPC under bridge in Abeokuta, the state capital on Wednesday morning, September 23.

It was learnt that the trapped victims were rescued from men of the traffic compliance and Enforcement Agency.

They also evacuated the perishable goods from the main roads.

Recall that tragedy struck on Saturday, August 29, after a multi-vehicle accident involving a fuel tanker happened at Ikare in Akoko North East local government area of Ondo State.

Immediately after the incident. However, death toll from the tragic incident has risen to eight according eyewitnesses who also identified a pregnant woman and her two children among the casualties.
