“Turn off your gas, stop cooking now and I will give you N1m”- Business man promises Chef Dammy in video

A businessman made an offer to give Chef Dammy N1 million if she immediately cancels her ongoing cookathon.

The man’s call is the most recent in a string of criticisms that have followed Chef Dammy’s cookathon in Oye, Ekiti state, which is still going on.

The businessman claims that although he is not opposed to Chef Dammy’s desire to cook, it is too early because Hilda Baci only recently concluded hers.

He claimed that Chef Dammy should have waited for Hilda to have her record verified by the Guinness Book of Records, before turning on her own gas,

After 100 hours of cooking, Hilda Baci called her cookathon to a close in May. Guinness World Records has received proof of her culinary skill.

If the proof is validated, she will surpass Lata Tondon’s record for the longest cooking marathon, which she held for 87 hours and 45 minutes.

The merchant, however, argued that Dammy should not have set up her own fireplace when Hilda’s record has not yet been verified.

He promised to provide Dammy N1 million if she stops cooking and cancels the cookathon.

His words: “If you can turn off the lights, take off everything and end this, I will give you a million Naira.”
