A video of a Nigerian woman criticising famed Port Harcourt-based preacher Pastor David Ibiyeomie has stirred outrage on social media.
The lady, named as Onyinyechi Blossom, chastised pastor Ibiyeomie for his recent sermons on tithes and offerings.
Blossom shared a video of Pastor Ibiyeomie explaining to his congregation how much of their yearly paycheck they should contribute to the church as an offering.
Pastor Ibiyeomie believes that members of his congregation should contribute at least 20% of what they earn to the church as a monthly giving.
During the viral lecture, Pastor Ibiyeomie also stated that the number of members of his church who should donate as an offering should exceed their tithe.
After the video of Pastor Ibiyeomie discussing tithes and offerings became viral, a Nigerian TikToker commented to it.
In her reaction video, Onyinyechi called Pastor Ibiyeomie a wicked person disguised as a pastor. She also stated that the preacher is evil and without a conscience.
Blossom blasted the pastor, asking how an average Nigerian who doesn’t make much money can survive if he gives away 30% of his earnings as tithes and offerings.
