One week after launching her debut EP ‘Mixed Emotions,’ Uchechi Emelonye is breaking new ground.

The EP reached a remarkable 10,000 streams on Audiomack in just 48 hours.

She performed at the Mainland Block Party with DJ Neptunes for the ‘Last Daze of Summer’ event, where fans enjoyed her hit ‘Foolish.’

Uchechi also captivated audiences at the Beat FM/Naija FM NYSC Show. Her talent was acknowledged by the media, with Channels Television featuring her as the ‘Artiste of the Week’ on their weekend program, Sunrise Daily.

The latest album, ‘Mixed Emotions,’ guides listeners through the ups and downs of love, heartbreak, and finding oneself.

This EP features six songs that narrate the journey of a determined woman striving to make her mark in the music world.

Each song offers a glimpse into Emelonye’s inner feelings as she courageously explores the complexities of love, personal growth, and self-discovery.

In other news, A lady evokes strong emotions as she steps onto the stage to perform a dance, but she is quickly overcome with grief, weeping uncontrollably as the DJ plays a track by the late Mohbad.

This moment is captured in a video that has gained significant attention on the popular social media platform TikTok. In the footage, the woman is seen approaching the stage with the intention to dance.

However, upon hearing the song by the late Nigerian artist Mohbad, she is visibly moved to tears. Within moments, she is seen on the ground, crying in response to the music, while several individuals attempt to offer her comfort.
