Ugezu Ugezu recently criticized Ossai Ovie Success for his remarks regarding the attire worn by Davido and Chioma in their pre-wedding photos.
Ossai Success had accused Davido of disrespecting Igbo culture by wearing Yoruba attire alongside Chioma in the photos. Ugezu disagreed with this, stating that there is no tradition in Igbo culture that requires the bride’s cultural attire to be worn as a sign of respect and unity.
He further mentioned that no Igbo family would object to their in-law wearing attire from their own culture.
His words: “@ossaioviesuccessofficial… Please my brother, when you wish to talk about Ndigbo, say only the things you know…. or you ask questions. What you just said has no place in Igbo tradition. People can do that for the razzmatazz, but it is not rooted in culture to warrant a mention. No family in Igboland will frown at their inlaw because he dressed his root. One Love”
