A Nigerian woman known for telling her colleagues in the UK to prioritize rest collapsed while at work and was rushed to the cardiology ward.
This incident was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
In her post, she emphasized her constant reminders to her coworkers about the importance of taking breaks and not overworking.
However, she shared her own shocking experience of collapsing during a night shift, which resulted in her being admitted to the cardiology ward.
She stated, “Not me advising my fellow Nigerians abroad, especially in the UK, to rest, and I ended up collapsing on a night shift and spending days in a cardiology ward. I learned the hard way. Please look after yourself!”
She kept stressing how vital self-care and enough rest are.
