UK Rapper, Unknown T Charged With Murder
UK rapper, Unknown T has been charged with murdering a 20-year-old man who was stabbed to death at a New Year’s party.
The 19-year-old, whose real name is Daniel Lena is expected to appear in court later this week following the death of 20-year-old Steven Narvaez-Jara.
He was also charged with violent disorder alongside two men, Mohammed Musse, and Raman Boreland, both 20 who were also charged with murder and violent disorder.
They are accused of killing Steven Narvaez-Jara, 20, of Belvedere, Kent, on New Year’s Day 2018 at a flat in Islington, north London. Another man was found with stab wounds at the scene.
In a statement, Met Police confirmed the charges to Metro.co.uk. ‘Detectives investigating the murder of 20-year-old Steven Narvaez-Jara in Islington on New Year’s Day 2018 have charged three people,’ a spokesperson stated.
The statement added: ‘All were bailed before being released under investigation in November 2018.
‘They were subsequently charged as above on 6 July 2019.’
‘Steven, from Belvedere Kent, was found suffering from stab injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene,’ the statement read.
Another 20-year-old man at the scene who was also found with stab injuries was taken to hospital and subsequently recovered.’
Lena, who rose to prominence in the rap and drill scene with his song Homerton B, will appear in court on Thursday.
