A moving event happened at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) as final-year students united to pay tribute to a fellow student who passed away just days before their long-anticipated sign-out day.
A video from TikTok user @monica_affe showcased the heartfelt memories the students had with their friend before his untimely death.
In the video, their late friend @big_priest is shown taking part in their Final Year Brethren (FYB) activities shortly before their sign-out celebration.
The five UNIBEN graduates are seen interacting with him, clapping and sharing smiles.
In the recent photo, the four students wore their white sign-out clothes, their faces filled with sadness. They created a unique outfit to remember their late friend as they wrapped up their university experience.
The video includes the message, “He was with them during FYB week but had passed away by the official sign-out day.”
The video was captioned, “The space you left in our hearts can’t be filled, you will always remain in our hearts B.I.G. May God grant you eternal rest 🤍🕊️.”
