The appointment is effective as of today, August 22, 2023, and will last until a substantive dean is elected for the faculty, according to a release from the university’s registrar, Gabriel Egbe.
According to the press release, Dr. Rose Ugbe, who is serving in the role of acting dean, will assume the duties and responsibilities of the position as well as oversee the faculty’s academic programs, promote a positive working relationship between faculty and students, and create an environment that is conducive to teaching and learning.
