Netizens are outraged after hearing the story of an unemployed guy who urged his wife to resign her banking job because she couldn’t make the Egusi soup he craved.
The anecdote was shared on the microblogging site X by user @Steadi_lady.
She stated her sister told her the tale, and she was astonished by what happened.
Apparently, the father has been unemployed for six years, and his wife is presently the breadwinner in their home.
However, she recently arrived home late from work and prepared rice instead of the Egusi soup he desired.
This upset her husband, who then forced her to leave her job so she could cook his favored meals.
Since his decision, their church members have been begging him to reconsider his stance.
The tweet reads;
