Uproars As 23-Year-Old Man Caught Taking His 6-Year-Old Son To Herbalist For Money Ritual

• The suspect from Ayedun, Kwara state, was said to have taken the child to a herbalist to perform a wealth ritual.

A 23-year-old man named Solomon has been caught trying to use his sister’s 6-year-old son, Jomiloju, for a money ritual in Ekiti State.

A video shared on X, previously known as Twitter, shows Solomon handcuffed with his hands behind him, standing next to the young boy.

The suspect from Ayedun, Kwara state, was said to have taken the child to a herbalist to perform a wealth ritual.

However, the herbalist chose to report him to the police instead of helping, which resulted in his arrest and confession.

In the video, the man was shown crying and begging for mercy. Solomon said he was informed that Jomiloju would not die but would often get sick, while he would become rich.

During a talk with the police, he mentioned that he promised to send the 6-year-old child to school.

In his words, “I went to be Babalawo, he asked if I had a sibling. I told him yes and he asked me to bring him. He told me that he won’t die but will be falling sick. I told Jomiloju that I will be taking care of him.”
