US election: Beyoncé permits Kamala Harris to use her song 'Freedom'

Beyoncé, an American music superstar, has given Kamala Harris her approval to use the singer’s song Freedom as the campaign’s official song.

A source close to Harris told CNN, “Beyoncé, who is renowned for maintaining rigorous clearance restrictions around her music, provided speedy approval to Harris’ campaign when they asked permission to use “Freedom” on Monday – just hours before she walked out to the song.

It was previously stated that President Joe Biden would no longer fly the Democratic Party flag in the 2024 presidential election.

On Sunday, the president of the United States announced his withdrawal from the November presidential election.

Following a dismal debate performance last month, his Democratic colleagues on Capitol Hill, prominent funders, and Hollywood stars all put pressure on him to make this statement.
