US lady Sukanda revealed she stopped dating Nigerian men after being falsely told he was a widow, but later discovered his wife was alive and well.
A lady in the United States, Sukanda, has expressed her decision to refrain from dating Nigerian men following an incident in which one deceived her by claiming to be a widower, only for her to discover that his wife was, in fact, alive and in good health.
“I don’t do Nigerian men; I’m actually very scared of them. I once asked a Nigerian man if he was married, and he said he was, but that his wife had passed away. Turns out, she was very much alive and well,” she wrote
In other news, Nollywood actress Caroline Danjuma has expressed her support for Miss Universe contestant Chidimma Adetshina, following petitions from South Africans urging her exclusion from the competition.
According to GistLover, the Progressive Forces of South Africa submitted a petition to the Miss Universe organizers requesting that her participation be halted.
The petition, initiated by @Lebogang Shovhote on change.org and titled “Chidimma Adetshina should not participate in Miss Universe,” was launched on Wednesday by the Progressive Forces of South Africa.
In response, Caroline Danjuma took to her Instagram account to voice her support for Chidimma, highlighting the significant amount of negativity and targeted attacks directed at her simply for aspiring to be a beauty queen and pursue her dreams. She remarked on the unusual determination of some individuals to undermine a young, innocent woman.
Affirming her support, Caroline expressed her admiration and respect for Chidimma, commending her resilience during challenging times. Danjuma declared her unwavering support for Chidimma Adetshina, stating that she will always cast her vote for her and considers her a queen.
“So much hate and witch hunting towards this young lady all because she wants to be a beauty Queen and live her dreams .. never seen a group of people so intentional about bringing a young female innocent girl down.
If her mum is found guilty, how is it her problem? The discrimination, the witch hunting, and the desire to bring her down no matter what. She left to represent Nigeria but it still won’t stop.
Here is my public vote and encouragement to you, Chidinma; I adore and respect you, and how you have carried yourself through these trying times of your life, I know as a young girl, all you want to do is to just live your princess dreams, and NO one has the right to stop you.
You have my vote now and always; to me, you are QUEEN NOW AND ALWAYS.
The devil will do everything to dim your light; you are enveloped with the grace of God and you WON TAKE YOUR CROWN.
@missuniverseng @missuniverse @missuniverseza ..let young girls be who they want to be, the sky is big enough for us all to shine”.
