Valued At N17.7B, Super Eagles Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi Is Now Nigeria’s Most Expensive Player In The English Premier League
Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi is now Nigeria’s most expensive player in the English premier league according to statistics published in a new report.
Ndidi who has been in a rich vein from this season with 2 goals in 16 appearances is being courted by Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, which has seen his value rise from €35 million to €45 million (approximately N17.73 billion in Nigerian currency ) according to financial experts from transfer market.
Ndidi, born in 1996, is ranked number 53 most expensive player among all the players in the Premier League, has a global ranking of 131, is the fourth most expensive Leicester City player and is the 10th most expensive defensive midfielder in the world according to the new rankings.
In second place is Alex Iwobi valued €32 million, third place is Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City), fourth place Isaac Success of Watford and fifth place Leon Balogun of Brighton valued at €12m, €4m and €1.5m respectively.
