Nigerian activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju is now part of rapper Speed Darlington’s situation, which reportedly involves singer Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy.

Recently, Speedy, also called Akpi, was reported missing on social media after not being reachable for three days. This followed his claims about Burna Boy’s connection to the arrested US music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Burna Boy also posted some tweets that made people suspect he was linked to Speed Darlington’s disappearance.

In a recent update, Deji Adeyanju announced on his official X page that he is now involved in the case, promising to do everything possible to help Speed regain his freedom.

He wrote:

“We are now involved in the Speed Darlington matter. We will do everything to get him freed. Nobody should be arrested by the police for expressing their views or opinions. We urge the authorities to stop the clampdown on freedom of speech in Nigeria.”

In another tweet, Deji Adeyanju criticized a musician linked to Speedy’s disappearance. He stated that one cannot be an oppressor while also singing against oppression.
