In an emotional piece, she describes her poor upbringing, living with her mother in a small home where she picked up her love of fashion.
With perseverance and skill, she began making garments in her mother’s living room, eventually pursuing her aspirations at Akwa Ibom College.
Veekee James’ journey reached a turning point in 2020, when she relocated her mother to a new home, symbolising her accomplishment.
She now runs a designers programme that showcases her growth and successes. Veekee is overwhelmed with appreciation to her supportive friend Tomike and her rising audience, who have contributed to her blooming profession.
