Verify authenticity of information before posting – Yul Edochie tells Nigerians ahead of elections

    Controversial actor, Yul Edochie has urged Nigerians to verify the authenticity of information on the elections before posting online.

    According to the actor who doubles as a movie producer, a lot of people post on social media without verifying the source of the information and how authentic the information is especially during elections.

    Yul Edochie mentioned that there is a lot of fake news flying around because people sit in their homes and fabricate stuff for the internet and post. He has warned Nigerians to desist from such acts ahead of the gubernatorial elections.

    “Any information you see about the election, pls confirm the authenticity before you post or repost. So much fake news flying around. Some people sit in their homes, create stuff & post it as news. Such could set our country ablaze. Pls, verify before posting or reposting.”
