VeryDarkMan has drawn the attention of the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, to a reported case of extortion occurring at Nigerian airports.
He posted a troubling video featuring a woman in tears, alleging that airport officials imposed “illegal” charges on her.
In the video, the woman asserts that she was compelled to pay N5,000 for each bag, which resulted in a confrontational exchange with airport personnel.
She expressed her willingness to spend up to N1 million on prominent blogs to bring this issue to light.
Prior to delivering his message, VDM emphasized that he is assisting the woman in raising awareness without any charge.
He urged an investigation into the situation and tagged the Minister of Aviation in his post.
In addressing the Minister, he inquired, “When did you add these charges to passengers’ bags? If true, will we soon pay for the air we breathe in Nigeria?”.
