Vincent Martins Otse, aka Verydarkman (VDM), a media figure, has expressed his disgust with Nigeria’s Iyaloja, Folashade Tinubu’s demand to market women.
Folashade had directed market women to urge children not to protest and to give her father, President Bola Tinubu, three years in office before complaining.
In response, VDM stated that it is not possible since Tinubu’s government was impoverishing the people. Furthermore, he has the worst first year in office thus far.
He also reminded her that Tinubu was among those who protested against former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration when fuel prices was raised from N65 to N87.
According to him, the increase in petrol prices to N750 and more is excessive and not available. He stated that he would not dissuade people from demonstrating because it is a citizen’s right. Looting, on the other hand, is not acceptable. He also told Folashade to warn her father to do the right thing; else, he would have to learn the hard way.
