Famous tech entrepreneur Linus ‘Blord’ William recently addressed rumors about being petitioned by controversial critic Verydarkman during a podcast chat with content creator Isbae U, also known as Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi. The conversation took place on the podcast Curiosity Made Me Ask.
Blord, Chairman of Blordgroup, had been invited by the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) over allegations related to poor customer service and fraud. During the podcast, Blord clarified that while he had indeed been petitioned, the submission came from someone else, not Verydarkman, as widely speculated on social media.
He firmly stated, “The main petition that sent me to FCID came from somebody else, not Verydarkman. He does not have the audacity or the courage to do that.”
The discussion shifted to Blord’s approach to promoting his brand without relying on influencers, which led to a debate about the costs associated with influencers. Blord explained that hiring influencers was too expensive.
In response to skepticism about his financial status, Blord surprised Isbae U by gifting him ₦10 million on the spot. He also teased that he could make him a billionaire during his next appearance on the show, adding an interesting twist to the conversation.
