Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman (VDM), has expressed strong outrage over a viral video that has caused a stir on Nigerian social media.
The video features adult film stars wearing traditional Yoruba clothing while performing explicit sexual acts.
What began as a simple family photo quickly turned into a shocking display, as footage of the actors engaging in sexual activities in their cultural attire went viral.
The viral video has left Nigerians feeling disgusted, with many questioning how anyone could show such disrespect for their cultural heritage.
Verydarkman was quick to voice his anger after finding the video.
He condemned it strongly, calling it completely disgusting and a direct insult to Yoruba traditions.
VDM believes that dressing in sacred Yoruba attire just to create a sex tape is a deliberate insult, aimed at degrading a culture that holds deep historical meaning.
He wrote;

His message struck a chord with his supporters, who quickly took to social media to show their support.
They emphasized that, although they don’t necessarily oppose adult content, there is a clear boundary that was crossed when sacred symbols were used for shock and exploitation.
