Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has responded to a recent court ruling that instructed him to remove defamatory posts about renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN). The dispute began when VDM accused Falana and his son, popular musician Falz, of being involved in a scandal with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and crossdresser Idris “Bobrisky” Okuneye.
VDM claimed that a N15 million bribe was paid to clear Bobrisky of legal issues and further alleged that Falana and Falz were compensated to assist in exonerating Bobrisky. These allegations gained significant attention online, causing outrage and leading to legal action.
In response to the court’s directive, VDM posted a video on Instagram where he appeared unfazed, chewing gum casually despite the ruling. His relaxed reaction has sparked mixed reactions from both supporters and critics across social media.
