Verydarkman Reacts to Deeone’s Agege Claims, Exposes Nedu

  • Verydarkman, a social media critic, has responded to allegations made by former BBNaija housemate Deeone, Aderombi Adedayo Martin, about his lifestyle.
    • Gistlover reported that Deeone, during a conversation about VDM on Nedu’s HonestBunch podcast, claimed that the critic did not belong to the ‘straight’ community of men.

Social media commentator Martins Otse, widely recognized as Verydarkman or VDM, has responded to allegations made by former BBNaija contestant Deeone, whose real name is Aderombi Adedayo Martin, regarding his lifestyle.

According to reports from Gistlover, Deeone, during a discussion on Nedu’s HonestBunch podcast, claimed that VDM does not identify with the ‘straight’ community of men. He asserted that VDM’s attraction to men was common knowledge, a statement that quickly gained traction on social media platforms.

In a video posted on Tuesday, February 11, VDM disclosed that several people have been forwarding Deeone’s remarks to him, suggesting that he pursue legal action for defamation. However, VDM clarified that he has no intention of taking legal measures or involving law enforcement against Deeone.

“I am a street boy, ghetto boy, I can’t take anybody to court,” he remarked.

Furthermore, VDM directed his comments towards Nedu, the host of HonestBunch, revealing that Nedu has been persistently inviting him to appear on the podcast since 2024. VDM shared a screenshot of their WhatsApp conversation, alleging that Nedu had promised to provide him with a car in exchange for his participation.

“Nedu wanted me to come to his podcast I didn’t respond, when we met in Abuja Nedu told me if I come to his podcast he would buy me a car,” VDM said.

He stated that Nedu had made several attempts to approach him, which he consistently rebuffed, implying that this behavior contributed to the media figure fabricating accusations against him with the assistance of Deeone.

Additionally, VDM claimed that many people, especially influencers, who appear on Nedu’s podcast either receive payment or pay to be featured. He further alleged that the primary focus of Nedu’s podcast is on generating views and revenue from YouTube, which is why serious issues affecting Nigerians are often overlooked.
