Media figure Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman (VDM), has addressed the backlash he received for a lighthearted video featuring him with singers Naira Marley and Zinoleesky at a nightclub.
After the video was shared online, many social media users criticized VDM for associating with Naira Marley, recalling the controversies linked to the death of his former artist, Mohbad.
It was previously reported that Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry were arrested in connection with Mohbad’s death but were later released.
VDM has often attacked Iyabo Ojo and Wunmi, the widow of Mohbad, regarding the late singer.
In a post on his Instastory, the social media influencer claimed that Mohbad’s case was finished. He emphasized that the public’s feelings about his death allowed those who knew the real story to conceal the truth.
VDM mentioned that he won’t conform to the crowd’s opinions and insisted that he stands for the truth alone.
He wrote:
“Mohbad case don end make una no vex, na una sentiment give the real people when know wetin do the boy passage to hide the truth… Just like I warned so it has happened, Mohbad will never get justice. As a ratel I will stand for the real truth, not the crowd truth.”
