Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has shared his thoughts on a video featuring Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin promoting his latest products.
In the video, the prophet showcases a golden spoon and sugar, suggesting that buying them will add sweetness to people’s lives.
VeryDarkMan commented that he believes the prophet is not violating any laws by selling these items.
He expressed worries about whether any regulatory agency had approved the sugar before it was available for sale to the public.
The activist jokingly mentioned that he might buy the golden spoon himself. He even joked about sending someone to get it, eager to find out if it really works as advertised.
With a touch of doubt, VeryDarkMan cautioned the prophet that if the spoon failed to meet expectations, he might think about pursuing legal action.
VeryDarkMan pointed out that the new product line could be because the earlier products failed to meet their claims.
He recalled that the prophet had sold items such as water, towels, handkerchiefs, and oils, which were all said to bring blessings to the buyers.
“He is not breaking the law. But you have previously advertised towel, soap, oil, water. The reason you are advertising the new things is because he old ones didn’t work.. I saw the suger. Have you passed through a regulatory body? Hope it will not damage our liver?” he asked.
In the video caption, VeryDarkMan wrote: “Papa J is back advertising golden spoon and sugar,my own is simple who approved the sugar? Nafdac? Well you guys should rush and get the golden spoons and be dangote before tomorrow morning @truthbe423 you Dey always attend him service lol.”
