Verydarkman throwback picture causes serious stirs online

A throwback photo of Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, sparked outrage online after it appeared on social media.

The photo, which was published online, depicts Verydarkman shirtless, posing for a quick snapshot against the backdrop of an incomplete building.

The activist himself published the photo on Instagram, where he is known for his outspoken character and frequent appearances in singlets.

However, Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop took advantage of the opportunity to mock the activist, claiming that his practice of standing shirtless began at an early age.

Stanley wrote:

“Una Activist. Na from kid him start to Dey naked. Very irresponsible dirty dark man. See as him Dey like … Is well.”
