Itskokopee Ogaga Okokowa, a close friend of social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, has voiced his concerns following the activist’s arrest by the Nigerian police.
According to GistLover, VDM was detained after making a video in a police uniform to warn fraudsters, which was deemed an abuse of the uniform.
In his videos, Ogaga wondered if the police can really be trusted, mentioning that VDM was the one who made him believe in the police.
He said that VDM has been a supporter of the police and often praises the law enforcement agency.
In a recording, VDM’s friend remarked that the agency came to VDM’s house for a search. He wondered if he was considered a criminal or drug dealer because of this treatment.
Ogaga also voiced his disappointment with the police for not chasing real criminals on the run, but instead targeting the TikToker who likes to call out celebrities.
