Esteemed actor Chiwetalu Agu has paid homage to his late colleagues and other notable figures in Nigeria.
On Thursday, the actor utilized his Instagram platform to share a video commemorating the memory of several individuals who have passed away, offering prayers for their eternal peace.
In the video, Agu conveyed his heartfelt condolences, stating, “May your soul rest in peace,” as he reflected on those who have recently departed.
He accompanied the video with a caption that read,“Rest in peace to everyone we have lost recently in the entertainment industry. Type RIP in the comment section below.”
Among the individuals Agu honored were John Okafor, widely recognized as Mr. Ibu, Zulu Adigwe, Amechi Munagor, Cynthia Okereke, Onyeka Onwenu, Junior Pope, and Herbert Wigwe.
Chiwetalu concluded his tribute by offering prayers for the “faithful departed” in his indigenous language.
It is worth noting that in 2022, the 68-year-old actor recounted an experience where he nearly succumbed to a ‘spiritual attack,’ crediting his survival to divine intervention.
