Veteran actors Jide Kosoko and Pete Edochie have come together once more after a separation of approximately 12 years.

On Friday, Jide posted a video of their reunion on his Instagram account.

The footage shows Pete seated with a snooker cue in hand as Jide approaches him to exchange greetings.

They engage in the traditional Igbo handshake before embracing, after which Jide takes a seat next to Pete.

In the video, Jide joyfully sings in Yoruba, expressing his happiness at reuniting with his long-time friend after so many years.

He captioned the post, “After about 12 years, I am seeing High Chief Pete again. Old reliables.”

The post has received over 1,000 likes, with fans celebrating the reunion of these iconic actors.

In other news, Nigerian rapper Falz has shared insights into his path to becoming a musician, clarifying that he did not feel compelled to follow his father’s career as a lawyer.

In a discussion with Chude Jideonwo on the ‘With Chude’ podcast, Falz expressed that his father’s positive influence, Femi Falana SAN, significantly inspired him during his upbringing.

He noted that while he admired his father’s contributions to society, which led him to study law, his legal career was brief. He worked at the Ministry of Justice during his youth service and subsequently at his father’s law firm.

Ultimately, he decided to leave the legal profession to dedicate himself entirely to music.
