Veteran actor Nkem Owoh, widely recognized as Osuofia, is commemorating his 70th birthday today.
The actor and comedian has played a significant role in the childhood memories of many Nigerians, featuring in numerous comedic performances.
In a recent post on his X account, Nkem Owoh expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to celebrate another year in good health.
He stated, “Hurray, I’m 70 years today.”
Owoh has appeared in a variety of films, including Osuofia in London, which earned him the nickname Osuofia, as well as Stronger than Pain and Ikuku, among others.
He has received multiple accolades, including the esteemed Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for “Best Actor in a Leading Role” for his remarkable performance in the film Stronger than Pain, as well as the AMAA Lifetime Achievement Award at the 13th edition of the awards.
In 2012, MTN collaborated with Owoh, securing a multimillion-naira endorsement deal that has been renewed multiple times.
