Nigerian Super Eagles footballer Victor Osimhen has broken his silence in response to comedian Mr Jollof’s criticism, posting a subtle message on social media.
Mr Jollof had chastised Osimhen for blocking him on Instagram after commenting on the footballer’s messy fallout with former coach Finidi George.
Osimhen resorted to social media to deliver a cryptic message on the negativity that trails success and blessings.
Without mentioning Mr Jollof, Osimhen stated, “Your blessing comes with side effects. Expect a case of jealous, bitter, gossiping people. But keep your joy regardless.”
Osimhen’s remark has piqued the interest of his admirers and followers, who are interpreting his message as a covert response to Mr Jollof’s criticism.
In other news, Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has shown his admiration for singer Rema.
Odumodublvck portrayed the youngster as a sage, revealing that he gave him advise that even his parents could not have given him.
He added that, although being six years older than Rema, he always listens carefully when the singer speaks.
The rapper claimed Rema proved to him that achieving legendary status is not determined by age.
On his X handle, Odumodublvck wrote: “I senior Rema with six years but when him dey talk I dey pay full attention. E get many thing wey him tell me wey I never hear anybody tell me. Not even my father and mother.
“And trust me, I don hear many advice. I repeat OG no be by age.”
Odumodublvck and Shallipopi were the only artistes featured on Rema’s sophomore ‘He Is,’ which was released on Thursday.
Odumodublvck was featured on the single ‘War Machine.’
