A widely circulated post on TikTok has ignited considerable debate following the disclosure of a traditional DNA test performed by a group of women on a newborn infant.
The post indicates that this test is part of a familial custom aimed at verifying the child’s legitimacy.
In the accompanying video, a narrator describes the process, which entails immersing an ice block in water to achieve an extremely low temperature.
The frigid water is subsequently poured over the infant. Should the child fall ill or succumb to the cold, it is interpreted as evidence that the child is not the biological offspring of the mother’s husband, suggesting potential infidelity.
Conversely, if the child shows no adverse effects, it is deemed confirmation of the child’s legitimacy.
This post has attracted considerable attention, with numerous individuals expressing their opinions in the comments as the video continues to gain traction online.
