Kai Cenat, an American YouTuber and online streamer, has made news again for tenderly singing Nigerian musician Shallipopi’s famous song Cast.
Kai, who recently arrived in Nigeria, was seen hanging out with Afrobeat music sensation Davido and his friend, Obi Cubana at Obi’s house in Lagos.
Shallipopi and his colleague Odumodublvck collaborated on the hit song ‘Cast’, which has received thousands of plays on music-streaming websites. Since its debut on November 10, 2023, fans have been dancing and singing the lyrics word for word.
A video circulating online shows the 22-year-old online streamer dancing enthusiastically as he sings the song alongside the audience during the event.
The video sparked outrage among social media users, who spotted Kai’s terrible lip sync of the song.
Internet users flocked to the social networking platform to offer their ideas.
