A Nigerian prophetess has attracted considerable attention on social media after a video showed her pouring red wine over herself.
In the TikTok footage, she lifted what is thought to be non-alcoholic wine above her head during her sermon and let it cascade down her body.
Afterward, she knelt and began to speak, but her words were not recorded in the video. The caption read, “Anybody that wants to drink your blood in this month as this red wine touched my body May their blood flow in Jesus Christ name Amen settle,”
Her actions have raised eyebrows online. When a user inquired about her reasoning for the act, she replied that she was instructed to do it and that it was linked to a prophecy.
In her words: “Not what I believe but what I was asked to do ….This was a prophecy behind this. God bless you.”
