It’s no secret that the national sports team’s opening match of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast ended in a 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea.
The saxophonist revealed that he once got to see the Super Eagle players go through their pre-game routines.
He related a particular incident from an earlier AFCON that took place in Ghana, in which he saw Nigerian players chowing down on balls of fufu and pounding yam right before they took the field.
“The kain fufu wey Nigerian players dey chop before match,” Seun cried out.
He continued by making the case that the majority of players who compete in the AFCON do so at the behest of their Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) employers.
In his video, the rapper praised some of the well-known African players who are performing well for their teams.
