VIDEO: They didn’t know they will be great artistes today– Reactions as old video of Wizkid & Davido as close friends resurface

• Both Davido and Wizkid couldn’t hide their excitement as they were seen together sitting next to each other revealing how much they were close to each other

A throwback video of popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid together with his colleague, David Adeleke better known as Davido has resurfaced online and by extension left many talking .

In the video, Davido and Wizkid were at the beginning of their musical career and then they were absolutely nothing but close friends.

Both Davido and Wizkid couldn’t hide their excitement as they were seen together sitting next to each other revealing how much they were close to each other.

In the over 10-year-old clip, Wizkid and Davido undoubtedly had cheerful moment as they were all smiled while having conversation with themselves or others present.

Unfortunately, the duo aren’t no more friends any longer as they have unfollowed each other on social media platforms.

While many claimed that this arises as they are trying to claim who is the best artiste between them, others stated that the toxicity between the two artistes were created by their fans.

In an interview that surfaced online, Davido claimed that Wizkid doesn’t like him as he noted that he turned their friendship to sour one after throwing subtle shade at him despite the fact that they were both on the same private jet to his show in UK.

Reacting further Wizkid debunked that as he noted that he was only promoting his show in the New York with the words “Proper show proper venue” and not aimed at each other.

However, In January 2022, peace reigned between the two singers as they gave each other a warm hug at a nightclub in Lagos.
