A peculiar event in Abeokuta has ignited extensive online discourse following reports of a large bird purportedly transforming into an elderly woman around 1 a.m.
The woman, however, declined to admit to any misconduct. This narrative was disseminated on a widely used social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), where a video documented the occurrence.
In the footage, a crowd encircled the woman, interrogating her regarding the alleged metamorphosis.
Instead of providing a direct answer, the elderly woman implored for her freedom, referencing a biblical verse that states God does not desire the death of sinners.
Despite her entreaties, the onlookers remained doubtful, demanding that she confess to any supposed “ungodly” actions.
As the post gained momentum online, many concerned users flocked to the comments section to express their views, with some displaying astonishment while others questioned the veracity of the allegations.
