VP Shettima, Abass, others Arrives Ogun for Akesan Festival

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, to commemorate the 37th annual Akesan Festival.

Shettima, the honored special visitor, was escorted by Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas as well as the governors of the states of Kogi and Kwara, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Yahaya Bello, respectively.

On Saturday, Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the President for Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), revealed this via his X (previously Twitter) profile.

He tweeted, “On hand to receive the Vice President are the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi), former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, some members of the Ogun State Executive Council and several others.”
