Warri Pikin, Makes Special Request To Guests, Reveals Why She Turned Down Davido’s Wedding Invitation

Nigerian comedian Anita Alaire Afoke Asuoha, also known as Real Warri Pikin, appears to have spoken for many about Afrobeats musician Davido and his wife Chioma’s wedding.

The couple’s traditional wedding date of Tuesday, June 25, is no longer news, as videos and moments from their recent bridal shower circulate online.

Real Warri Pikin confessed that she regretfully declined Davido’s wedding invitation when he contacted. She stated that she is in Abuja and is now working on her show, which is set for June 28.

In a comprehensive video, Warri Pikin addressed all of the guests and media outlets who would be present at the highly anticipated wedding ceremony about what they should do so that she and millions of Nigerians who would not be able to attend could watch the event on social media. 

The actress complained about camera angles from her experience at the bridal shower yesterday night, June 23. She advised the cameramen and videographers to cover all angles.

She tackled the importance of using the widely known hashtag for the event #Chivido2024. According to her, this would enable Nigerians to follow up on the wedding activities without jumping from blog to blog.

Warri Pikin also called out Davido’s aide, Israel DMW, and argued that she wasn’t feeling his energy, as she needs him to buckle up on his duties.
