Was he supposed to leave money? Adebayo Shittu slams Peter Obi for leaving money after his tenure(video)

Former Minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu, has knocked Labor party, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for leaving behind a huge sum of money after concluding his tenure as governor of Anambra state.

In an interview with DailyTrust, Shittu argued that Obi had no business saving money for the state since he isn’t a ‘banker.’ He also accused the former governor of investing the state funds in his own private businesses.

”He left behind the government money that he had invested in his private company.

If you talk of somebody leaving money, was he supposed to leave money? Is he a banker or is he a bank? Was the money for safekeeping?’‘he said

In a related news, Victoria Inyama, Nollywood actress has clarified her earlier comment and declared her support for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, hours after clashing with his supporters.

Her statement generated backlash from Obi’s supporters who dragged the Orange Girl star on social media.

Recall that the actress had earlier on said she agrees with media personality, Daddy Freeze that “70% of Peter Obi’s supporters are zombidients and obidiots”.

Clearing the air in an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze hours ago, the mother-of-three said she has nothing against Obi’s supporters, adding that although 70% of his supporters are ‘confused’, the rest are ‘smart and intelligent.’

When asked who her preferred presidential candidate is, the actress declared her support for Obi. Victoria Inyama said:

“I am his supporter, I always support Peter Obi so I don’t bloody know why they’re attacking me. For me in particular, he is educated, he is calm, he has the qualities of a leader. I have listened to him debate, he is so calm, he has never raised his voice. If we are given an opportunity to vote of course I’ll vote Peter Obi, he is an intellectual.”

Recall Daddy Freeze had earlier categorised Obi’s supporters into three. In his words:

“Peter Obi supporters can be classified into 3 main groups:

1: Obidients: Amazing guys who understand his philosophy and support him passionately.

2: Zombidients: These ones just dey follow Obi cluelessly with their eyes closed as the name suggests,” he wrote.

“3: Obidiots: A coagulation of Louts and touts lurking online and offline, ready to jump and attack anyone who doesn’t support Obi. Which of these do you fall into? ~FRZ.”

Reacting in the comment section of the post, Victoria agreed with Daddy Freeze’s statement saying:

“Number 2 and 3 are major 70%. Ask what they are supporting him for and no clue.”

As expected, the post generated backlash from Obi’s supporters who dragged the actress over the statement.
