Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, a Nigerian singer, has declared that, contrary to common assumption, he also needs money.
The ‘Calm Down’ singer made the announcement on his Twitter page on Saturday in response to a fan who requested his account number for a giveaway.
It all started with Rema asking his fans how they are doing, and a guy known as @ommies_official, wrote; “We’re okay ooo but e be like say we need money make we drop AZA”
Responding to his plea, Rema said that he also needs money which is why he is going for music shows.
He tweeted; “Brother all of us need money, if I no need money I for no dey go show.”
Don Jazzy, a well-known music producer and recordowner, is overjoyed with Rema’s outstanding global success in recent years.
His joy is evident as he couldn’t help but share his latest amusing strategy for charming an oyinbo girl he met in France.
Don Jazzy posted to Instagram to reveal that he now uses Rema as a pickup line while meeting women from all over the world.
He detailed a specific event during his recent trip to Paris in a video, in which he spotted a lovely white woman whom he was keen to approach.
According to Don Jazzy, when the lady asked about his purpose in Paris, he replied that he came to oversee his investments.
But he didn’t stop there; he proudly explained that when she inquired about the performance of his investment, he presented evidence of Rema’s latest success, the sold-out show Rema had held in Paris.
Reacting to this, junior_humphrey wrote: “Investment dy go well 😂😂”
marggie stated: “If only she knows 🙌”
bankulli reacted: “Chief investor 👏🏿”
