Grammy award winning singer, Burna Boy in a recent interview has said that schools in Nigeria do not teach citizens their true history
He said the schools focus on teaching the white man’s history and about the Queen of England rather than what happened in African centuries ago.
In a recent interview, Burna Boy also said that the Nigerian education system teaches its people that they are powerless and inferior to the whites.
He stressed that children and youths are taught things that are of no significance to Nigerians, adding that he wants the history of Nigeria before colonizers came to start being taught.
