“We are still technically married” – Blossom Chukwujekwu’s ex-wife, Maureen makes interesting revelation

Maureen Esisi, the ex-wife of Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, has stated that they are still legally married.

In an interview with The House Chronicles, she mentioned that she never signed any divorce papers.

Despite Blossom’s remarriage, they are technically still married. Maureen clarified that their separation occurred before it became public, and being divorced means signing papers.

Maureen also criticized her former in-laws for their treatment towards her, explaining how his mother would give her reasons why she couldn’t divorce him, but when the actor decided to end their relationship, they accepted it.

“My separation happened way before it went public. I am not divorced, technically I am still married. When you say you are divorced it means you signed paper right?”.

“All I did was defend him and I wasn’t defending him because I needed to but because I regardless of whatever happened, I am never going to stop saying he is a good person.

I will call his mom and she will give me reasons why we cannot divorce and he said he was done and they were okay with it.

People say he dodged a bullet with me, but that’s extreme because if we really want to analyse things in papers I dodged a bullet”.

Maureen Esisi got married to Blossom in 2015, but the marriage hit the rock in 2019 due to irreconcilable differences.
