“We can’t sleep anymore because of police” – Yahoo boy cries out at #EndBadGovernance protest

A suspected internet scammer, known as Yahoo Boy, has been caught on video weeping about frequent police harassment.

He attended the second day of the #EndBadGovernance protest on Friday, August 2, and was enraged that police usually arrest people for internet fraud.

The young man, who is believed to be a student, stated that they are no longer able to sleep soundly since security personnel raid their hostels and confiscate their properties.

He stated, “We no fit dey sleep, police dey burst our hostel, they con dey pack our property because say we dey do yahoo. Unto wetin na?”
