numerous young football players from Abu Salami’s academy pleaded with Davido to return the large quantity of money to their boss.
The ongoing spat between popular Nigerian singer Davido and businessman Abu Salami has taken a new turn, with kids from their football academy vocalising their desire to meet with the crooner.
Remember that Abu Salami accused Davido of owing him N218 million for failing to complete the assignment for which he was paid.
In a subsequent development, numerous young football players from Abu Salami’s academy pleaded with Davido to return the large quantity of money to their boss.
They also revealed the difficult circumstances they have found themselves in, adding that due to budgetary difficulties, they frequently have to resort to drinking garri after their morning training sessions.
The pupils emphasised that Davido’s failure to refund the monies has harmed their hopes and dreams.
Speaking further, the lads urged Davido to bring his newborn twins and wife, Chioma, to them.
They begged him to consider their suffering and pay the debt since they needed the money to help their own family.
Their petition elicited a wide range of responses online, with cybernauts taking to the comment area to share their ideas.
